Intuition

"No please I don't need them" I said with rabbit eyes. ''We're giving it to you coz we love you!!" replied my Uncle. I consider it perfectly human when ur relatives give u money, then on the outside l say no but inside l'm like ''yes''.Especially when it's 500 bucks. With a light heart and happy memories l set my course homewards.Railway station was crowded as usual which l blissfully ignored. As soon as l boarded the train l came to know about trains running late, thanks to Megablock. As per the ritual,I soon fell asleep.
Honks and beeps. That was all l could hear. But everything around me was engulfed in darkness as if someone threw a blanket over me. All l could hear was loud horns. Suddenly l found myself in the middle of a busy road with cars zooming past me.l turned my gaze towards a loud honking sound.
A gigantic red BEST bus was approaching me and''Boom''.Before l could respond the thing hit me and l went flying.
"So tell me something about yourself''said a pretty voice.l looked up.A sweet young girl was sitting next to me on the coffee table.''yeah,but...errr...why'' l hesitated.''Bcoz from the last half an hour I'm just talking to myself,and..oh..whatever''she cut her conversation in middle and took a quick sip of hot chocolate.l just sat there looking at her like an idiot.
She had a mysterious look which told me that something's fishy in here but l was completely bowled over by her exquisiteness. She started'''How can u dream when you are just sitting in a train".I got baffled but I replied" I dont know what u r talkin about?". The girl gave me a cute smile and held"Why does it happen that we always land up in the middle of a dream having no idea where it started or ended.Next question ; Do u really know where u r or how u got here". She again smiled.

My mind started racing and suddenly I woke up with a start. The train had crawled into the station. It soon dawned upon me that it was just a dream which blurred away.Reality stung me again when I found out that I was just one station away from where I started. While I slept for an hour which seemed to me like ages. I alighted at the next station heaping silent curses. Luckily I found a swank AC bus for my destination.
I happily hopped into it looking for a comfy journey. Sometime later someone sat beside me so I looked up. A sweet young girl was sitting right next to me. I had a deja vu kinda feeling so I managed to steal a few stares. She somehow noticed this but eventually ignored."Have I met her somewhere ?"I started thinking. To describe her she was just another good looking college going babe and persistently clinging to her smartphone like anything. I overheard a few conversations and she was crying foul over her disheveled lifestyle and her over burdened 'commerce' subjects."Wow" I spoke to my mind"If people find commerce as tough a subject I wonder what would they feel about engineering". Praising my prejudiced thinking I felt like striking a conversation with her.
I picked up my phone and started talking to myself in a rather high tone so that she could overhear. "Oh hi how r u. Long time no see. Oh so u r enjoying . Great yaar . I wish I had pursued commerce coz engineering sucks. " I was talking to myself taking perfect pauses in between. She gave me a startled look when I uttered the word “commerce”. I figured out she was desperate to talk to me hence I quickly hung up my mock phone call with a few goodbyes. "Excuse me, are u studying engineering ?"she asked. I gave her a contented smile and nodded yes as my mind said "Bulls Eye".
She again said "If u think that commerce is so easy to study then I think u r living in a bubble ". "Look I don't mean to offend you but u are exaggerating ur own problems." I replied.
"Be it any stream, I think the difficulties are always the same. "she said.I was thoroughly impressed by her rational thinking and in the pretext of changing the topic I said"Do you always start conversations like this ?". She said "Yeah Whatever!!".I quickly came up with a cheesy line"When a girl says 'whatever'to a guy in the middle of a quarrel it is safe to assume that the boy won".
It seemed to me like a perfect conversation was building and I was like on cloud nine when she suddenly declared “Oops!! I gotta go,that’s my stop”she declared.I felt gloomy. She asked “Soooo… can I have your cell no. so that I can text u later”. This statement brought out the flirt it me “Now look first I’ll text u and then u’ll text me and a few texts later u’ll probably forget me,So why don’t we do this .Let’s terminate this pleasant conversation here itself with sweet memories.” I said with a Tom Cruise smile. She was completely baffled by this but sensing her oncoming destination she said “Ciao” .She was about to leave when a mysterious thing happened .These words involuntarily were spoken by me “Be careful when u get off the bus. You might hurt yourself”.The next moment I wondered why I said this. The sweet young girl definitely heard this but turned a deaf ear and just left.
No wonder what happened next.An errant bike rider tried to overtake the gradually slowing bus from the left side right where the bus door opened. My sweet young lady having no idea what’s coming just hopped off and “BOOM”.The bike rammed into her or she rammed into the bike,Whatever….She fell to the ground with a thud and scrapped her knee but nothing major. The biker on the other suffered larger injuries which he rightly deserved. The girl,I wondered how, stood up with tearful eyes holding her scrapped knee and gazed me with horror. The bus left swiftly as the driver didn’t wish to attract problems.I kept looking at her until she was out of my sight.Suddenly everything became clear to me.
My dreaded dream had come true, though in pieces and with a few twists. Almost everything from the accident to the sweet young girl matched each other. Though I didn’t recall the girl from my dreams because we tend to forget 75% of the dream we see as soon as we get up.It’s also true that when we are in deep sleep we can sometimes unleash our sixth sense. Some scientists even claim that during Rapid Eye Movement or REM or deep sleep we can break the barriers of the fourth dimensions which we all know as time and look through into the future technically known as intuitions.
Nevertheless it was an unforgettable day for me and oh!!the mysterious girl too.Another amazing chapter of my life.

I SEE U

"Stand up,Abhishek..."

"Whoa..what sir??"I suddenly looked up.
"Tell me the graphical definition of differentiation?"Professor asked me with a stern look.
"err.. the equation....of the....slope drawn to the tangent of a curved line can be called as.....differentiation!!!!!!!!!" . It took me half a minute to collect those words but somehow everything went right.
"Right answer, but the blackboard is in front of you . So, pay attention here!!!"Professor said."Yeah...yeah...".It wasn't that I was a class topper but I had a fair knowledge of basic mathematics which gave results at the right time. After the lecture,Sonia came to me as usual and started firing me as she always did.
"Sleeping again huh...Einstien".
"No,I...I was actually staring at the bombshell..."I replied with a cunning smile.Sonia looked confused"Come again??".
"Aree yaar I was staring at Rashmi, the bombshell of our class. She looks really hot today.I wish I could just talk to her"I said with a cunning smile."My God, I thought atleast you are different from other boys and look what i am seeing now." she said with a tone full of disgust and sadness.
"Men will be men..." I replied very curtly. She always seemed to me as if she were the Vice president of some kind of Mahila Mukti Morcha.
"Don't you girls pop your eyeballs out when you see John Abraham flex his bare body and toned muscles. " I retaliated .
"Ya,but atleast it doesn't look indecent. I just hate the way you boys stare greedily at our hips!!!" she said angrily.
That was the start of WORD WAR 1.My mind started working on an answer while she continued."It's like hell living in a male dominated world. Why dont you understand our problems. Why can't you respect us??".
I was very close to an answer till she shot again."You know, yesterday I read in a newspaper that the Indian Air force is thinking of terminating the Maternity leave of the women officials.Denying the right to give birth to a baby, how cruel is that ?? I just can't........".
"Ok ... Ok ...". I snipped her conversation because it was my turn.
"You know, our fore fathers,I mean the stone age peoples were no different from other animals of the jungle because thier brains were still being developed with experiences."I said.
"What has this got to do with what I just said???" she said.
"So, in order to cope with the environment around them they developed animal instincts and adapted to it.So, to continue the human race forever it was necessary to produce a good offspring which was capable of surviving in that world.Hence, maybe the Stone age men looked for females with strong HIPS so that she could carry and protect thier babies.Similarly, the females at that time required protection from the uncivilised men at that time. So, maybe they would look for a male with strong biceps and muscles".

"Moral of the story is that whatever we do is a reflection of our former generations. When we stare at girls,It is really our animal instinct at work which is not always a problem. A study says that 80% of males stare at women with or without a reason safe enough to be ignored. The only reason is that men are always misunderstood."
Sonia was clean bowled but somehow she continued. She asked with a smile"Achha, how can men be misunderstood."
I said"Yesterday, I was roaming in our park when I saw a boy and a girl playing on a seesaw. Both were 8 year old toddlers. Due to imbalance both of them fell off the seesaw and got hurt.I stood there watching as thier parents lifted them up and consoled them.I heard them talking and a thought struck my mind.".
"When a 8 year old girl is hurt and crying, her mother takes her up in her arms and tells her not to worry ,everything will be fine."Come,I'll buy u a chocolate".On the other hand when a boy cries , parents tell him not to cry. You,re a big boy now etc.... instead of consoling him.Maybe thats where we create the Misunderstandings...... " I said.
Just then the bell rang.Indicating my WORD victory over the damsel in distress and a new boring Mathematics lecture...........

DAYDREAM 2 !!!!!!!!!!

WELL it seems like my Daydreaming habit is going out of bounds but anyway who cares. After a never ending long series of semester examinations , me & my I-am-free -24/7 friends decided to go somewhere, anywhere as we were just tired of even figuring out where to go. While on the road trip something strange happened , another amazing experience...
We came across a temple built in memory of a Saint who lived there. We stopped by and went in & somehow i knew all my friends were praying for the same thing "Bhagwaan,Malti aur Sangeeta ko apni behen ki nazron se dekhungaa ,bas PASS kar dena...".I couldn't help but smile at this thought. We were about to leave when we saw along the side walls of the temple there were lots of old books kept for the purpose of reading by the devotees. I asked the pandit about this and he gave me the answer with a rather proud look on his face"Many years ago, when the Saint lived, villagers used to flock here and ask him a solution to thier life problems. But the saint's quickwitted responses were as miraculous as his deeds .He used to give each villager a PAGE , a leaflet to read from the Holy book Dnyaneshwari and said'Let, God Himself guide u to light'........ ".
"So, did it worked..." I was quick to ask."Ha, you can experience it yourself". and he gave me a copy of Dnyaneshwari kept there. With a puzzled look, I randomly fished out a page from the book written in Marathi and started reading it.
Our mind can be given a thousand names ,it can be related to a monkey jumping from one branch to another without realising its ultimate goal.It is only the instability of mind that moves a person away from Him.To be proficient and skilled in any work we must first learn to hold the ever roaming cloud(MIND) to one place , to be stable, to be at peace .One must learn to love every work he does, so that he finds God in everything.....
"Oh my gosh, how can a random pull-out leaflet correctly predict the problems faced by each and every student including me".It was as if my mother ,who always tells me to stop daydreaming and start studying, is giving me a 3-hour lecture on "HOW TO BE A TOPPER".
Anyway this shocking experience led me to have another series of daydreaming & this time I found something new .We must have already seen like a thousand movies on "Hidden treasure" or "treasure hunt". This clearly shows the man's never ending hunger for treasures or supreme knowledge that might make him richer than Bill Gates or stronger than Superman. So, if a leaflet from a religious book , no matter how coincidental it might be, can show me the path to be a bright student . Then the saying "Books are the real treasure possessed by man" is not simply something to write everyday on blackboard but it really means what it says.I remember my Grandma telling me that each sentence written in Srimad Bhagwad Gita has over a thousand literal meanings. This in turn explains the fact that why sadhus and religious people read thier holy books again and again.
This might be a little freaky but the treasure everyone's been looking for is hidden in the Gita, the Upanishads, the Quran , the Bible etc.... I know u might think i'm going crazy but whatever i said coincides with the facts. There's one more thing I would like to tell you. Almost all the religious books talk about the concept "APOCALYPSE" but people tend to forget it's real meaning. Many of us think that the meaning of this word is the end of world or DOOMSDAYor 2012 etc..., but I would like to tell that apocalypse literally means "The major shift in thinking or a revolution."
So, what these books might be telling us is that there will come one day when the human will decode all the secrets and treasures hidden deep within these religious books and we might be progressing at such a superfast rate that we could be able to Apparate from one place to another , fly airplanes without fuels , and maybe produce"Bramhastra"or "Fire missile" just by thinking of it, as we see Lord Rama, doing it in Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayana' .THINK OF IT....

DAYDREAM !!!!

"A current carrying conductor placed in a uniform magnetic field experiences a force.....blah...blah...blah... ". Sometimes it's really better if u just sit and daydream instead of mugging up definitions from a book titled "ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS AND STUDY OF INSTRUMENTATION".I wonder why are we studying this. I'm not thinking of messing with any conductor or mag.field in near future.I really can't help but blame some people from history starting from Newton to Einstien and the list goes on...But just as my professor says proudly"These scientists are a boon to mankind. The only persons who truly knew the potential of science and the magic it can create...".
"Yeah!! right MAGIC but why was this SCIENCE Devta so partial to Indians. Was there no sadhu or yogi to make any scientific discovery when Newton was looking at the Jupiter's moons through his glasses.".Professor ran out of answers but i was keen to find out. At last 4 succesful hours of daydreaming gave me the answer. Here's how it goes..
Ok, when Europe was at its peak of scientific evolution, we Indians were busy meditating, achieving penance, reading religious books etc. "BUT WHY????". So why do sadhus meditate ? , maybe they wanna be nearer to Him or search for "AN ETERNAL TREASURE OF KNOWLEDGE".So does meditation help ? , scientific research confirms that when a person meditates with full concentration and in a super relaxed state his brain acts in a superhuman manner. Under very rare and special conditions the brain secretes an unknown chemical which spreads throughout the body. This special chemical has anti aging , disease curing abilities and may literally transform cancer cells into healthy cells.
Cool na!!! transforming cancer cells into healthy cells just by thinking about them!!!.Maybe that's the reason why at that time such people were devoid of diseases and lived for hundreds of years.Doesn't this super chemical thing! resemble the ELIXIR of LIFE or AMRUT .
